I have a very selective list of cabinet makers, furniture makers, restorers, timber framers and carvers that I can recommend. Though most of my work is other companies I will do projects for individuals. If you only need one small piece , chair leg etc , I will be glad to do it. These projects are usually mailed to me and I FedEx them back. If you send me a email with basic dimensions, type of wood and picture I can give you a quote. Sorry but I no longer offer classes as my insurance agent explained the risk I was taking. Also you can go to http://www.woodturner.org/ and find a club in your area. All clubs welcome new members and offer formal and informal training. My advise to anyone that wants to start turning is to buy nothing until you have had some exposure.
