Several things that save a lot of profanity .  Starting on the left above the table saw is  the switch for the dust collector.  In this shop I only use the DC for table saw and planer and since I use the TS a lot more than the planer the switch is above the TS.  Squares and push stick for the TS hang from the 1/2" square horizontal part of roof truss.  I put a piece of paper behind the hanging pencil so it would show up in this picture.   String goes through a couple of eyelets attached to roof truss with a weight on the end.  There is enough string that the pencil will reach anyplace on the TS.  When I release the string the weight retracts the pencil out of the way.  Used this same trick every place in the shops that I normally work.  The large safety switch for the TS is really great.  No more fumbling trying to find the on/off switch.  Also in the background 2 of the yellow overhead 120 volt outlets can bee seen.   With 6 overhead outlets I am always close to power without having extension cords underfoot.
